SAP accelerates Mobile Solutions offering

On the 19th September, SAP announced the opening of a new SAP Mobility Design Centre in Palo Alto, Calif., to help customers meet the growing need for individualized mobile solutions. The centre is a one-stop shop for designing, developing and validating customer-specific mobile enterprise solutions that are intuitive for users and leverage features such as touch, camera, GPS and other device functionality across a variety of device platforms.

SAP Mobile Solutions are coming soon – if you aren’t already using them. What does this mean from a change management, training and user-adoption perspective? As with any component in a technology deployment, you must ensure that your Change Strategy considers the integration of mobile solutions from the very beginning of the project, permitting early user involvement to allow opportunities for feedback into the design and deployment of the apps. And of course, don’t overlook the unique training requirements of using mobile solutions.
